Refund Policy – Sonia Holidays

At Sonia Holidays, we strive to provide our customers with the best travel experiences and transparent service. This Refund Policy explains the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued for tour packages, hotel bookings, transportation, and other travel services.

1. Booking Confirmation

All bookings are confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment or full payment, as communicated at the time of booking. Once confirmed, cancellation and refund terms will apply as mentioned below.

2. Cancellation by Customer

If you cancel your booking, the following cancellation charges may apply:

  • 30 days or more before travel date: 10% of total package cost will be deducted.
  • 15–29 days before travel date: 25% of total package cost will be deducted.
  • 7–14 days before travel date: 50% of total package cost will be deducted.
  • Less than 7 days before travel date or no-show: No refund will be provided.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or WhatsApp to our official contact details.

3. Non-Refundable Services

Certain services are non-refundable, including:

  • Visa fees
  • Travel insurance
  • Flight tickets (as per airline rules)
  • Hotel bookings marked as non-refundable
  • Any third-party services with strict cancellation policies

4. Cancellation or Changes by Sonia Holidays

Sonia Holidays reserves the right to cancel or modify a tour due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, government restrictions, insufficient bookings, or operational reasons. In such cases:

  • Customers will be offered an alternative package, or
  • A refund will be issued after deducting any non-recoverable costs paid to third-party vendors.

5. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 business days and will be credited via the original payment method or bank transfer.

6. No Refund for Unused Services

No refunds will be provided for unused services, including missed sightseeing, unused hotel stays, or early departure from the tour.

7. Force Majeure

No refunds will be provided for cancellations due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, political unrest, or government regulations.
